Yonex Arcsaber 11 was launched in 2013 as a way to innovate and make some changes to the previous model, version # 10.
This is visually quite pretty, which mixes shades of red, black and yellow.
It is quite similar to its previous version having two characteristics that have changed more sharply:
- The “sonic metal” that makes the head a little heavier despite still being a balanced racket making also another sound when hitting a smash;
- The racket head is thinner thus improving its aerodynamics, with a greater difference in drop shots, for example, which can be done faster;

All About YONEX ArcSaber 11 (Review)
Good Flexibility and Stiff Shaft
The combination of these two features makes your moves quite easy to do and you do not have to spend large amounts of energy on your game.
It also helps a lot of beginner and intermediate players who do not normally have as much strength and muscle in their arms and shoulders as they do not put a lot of pressure on them and make them less tired.
By having this form the spacing between the ropes is the same, which makes your beat is much more consistent even when it does not strike exactly in the center of the racket, thus greatly improving its control.
A badminton game is not just strength and smashes. If you do not have consistency in your game you will lose all points even without the opponent using a smash.
Now we’ll look at your performance across the various types of bids and see what your strengths and weaknesses are.
It is possible to beat clears very consistently and without great effort puts the steering wheel in the bottom of the court.
As it has a great sweet spot, something that many YONEX racquets offer, even if it does not make the beating completely in the center of the racket still manages to produce a good amount of power and maintain control.
Being this a racket balanced, when it is going to hit a drop shot it is noticed enough.
There is great ease in the beating, as it has less weight on the head and is also very thin it makes sharp movements quite quickly and its technology allows the steering wheel to stay longer in contact with the ropes improving the control.
At this point, it already leaves you a little behind some competitors.
You get a good swing and make a powerful smash with a lot of speed, but other models with more weight in the head deliver more power in this type of beat.
If you are looking for a racket that delivers maximum power in smashes this is not for you, however, if you want a balanced racket and can perform well in this movement then it may be a possibility to consider.
The biggest selling point pointed out by YONEX is the defense of Arcsaber 11.
It is definitely a well-balanced racket that is very easy to maneuver, making it almost an extension of your arm.
For players who do not have as much strength in their smashes and who want to bet more on an effective defense to counterattack immediately, this racquet delivers all that.
Mid-field play, which in most cases is done with drives, is also one of the strengths of ArcSaber 11.
As we have already mentioned, it is quite easy to maneuver and as it does not have so much weight on the head this makes it possible to make faster and agile movements.
Many players who play mostly doubles like this racket by this factor, and in this type of games the speed is usually very high and the reflexes have to be as fast as possible.
YONEX ArcSaber 11
ArcSaber 11 is definitely a very good racquet and if you are an intermediate level player or even some advanced players who have a more defensive playing style or who play mostly doubles this would be a great buy for you.
Another factor that we do not mention is the fact that it is a racket that is priced a bit high, coming close to some of the best rackets on the market used by most professionals.
It all depends on how much you want to spend on your racket, but have no doubt that it’s hard enough not to feel satisfied playing with one.
And so, did you know more about this racquet with our Arcsaber 11 review, since its characteristics, if it is good to attack, defend, price, etc …?
