YONEX Nanoray 10F Review

YONEX Nanoray 10F is a racket for which there is a great demand and the big factor for this to happen is one: the price.

This is one of the low-range YONEX rackets, which is accessible to most players who often lack the budget or simply are not willing to spend as much money on a racket as the PRO players use.

It is not because it is cheaper than it is bad and should bear this in mind, it will only have some limitations as already expected.

In visual terms they have several designs as you can see below, having this 3 color variations in the same pattern. All of them have black and then the highlight color may be red, green or blue.

All About YONEX Nanoray 10F (Review)

This is a technology that has been incorporated into that triangular piece between the grip and the shaft, which has been adapted to absorb even more impact and also to give your thumb more comfort when you need to use it in a backhand motion.

Nanomesh + Carbon Nanotube

YONEX has created a unique blend of products which has been inserted into the shaft and the frame of the Nanoray 10F in order to increase its repulsion and consequently the power that is inserted in the movement.

This is important because rackets with a lightweight head like this have always been a reason for criticism from the more offensive players for not being able to insert so much force into the moves.

This technology came with the aim of alleviating this difference.

Isometric Form

By having this form the spacing between the ropes is the same, which makes your beat is much more consistent even when it does not strike exactly in the center of the racket, thus greatly improving its control.

A badminton game is not just strength and smashes. If you do not have consistency in your game you will lose all points even without the opponent using a smash.

Now we’ll look at your performance across the various types of bids and see what your strengths and weaknesses are.

With the YONEX Nanoray 10F you can make a consistent beat and as it has a very large sweet spot even if it does not hit in the middle of the racket can do the transfer of power.

You lack some repulsion to always manage to send to the bottom of the court but in conditions in which you are in a balanced position you should not feel any problems.

Drop Shots

This is a movement that depends a lot on your technique and adaptation to the racket to know how to measure the speed and strength you have to apply.

It is not as fluid as if it had a head heavy racket where the weight of the head pushes the shuttle in a natural way, however knowing your racket can do very good drop shots.

Being a lighter racket and also with less weight on the head is natural that it can not use the same type of force that on a racket for players with an offensive style.

If you do not have the strength or the technique needed to make a super smash, you would not be able to do it with a better racket and with the YONEX Nanoray 10F you can do a very consistent smash.

The disadvantages of this racquet in the other points become the advantage in your defense.

As it is a very light racket and also has an aero-frame, this one turns out to be quite fast and for being able to cut very well the wind, being able thus to better take advantage of its reflexes and maintaining a high speed of game without having your arm or pulse very tired.

This is obviously a racquet that was not made to be played by a professional player or with a high level of play, but if you are just a beginner or even an intermediate player then you will have everything the Nanoray 10F needs.

As we have already said, it is relatively inexpensive for a badminton racket, especially given that it is made by YONEX, the best and most recognized brand on the market.
Enjoy to try and if you have a greater availability in terms of a budget buy two for in case the string breaks in one you have another to replace.

This racket is already strung, this is another advantage because you do not have to pay and wait for someone to do it later for you (still expensive).

And so, did you know more about this racquet with our YONEX Nanoray 10F review, since its characteristics, if it is good to attack, defend, price, etc …?
