The YONEX Nanoray 70DX is a very peculiar racket in several aspects that make it desirable for some players in particular.
The most important features to take into account in it are having head light balance, have a stiff shaft and also support high tension string.
Many of the rackets that are head-light do not withstand very high string tension which causes a loss of power and repulsion in their movements, something that in this case can be attenuated enough.
It’s a lightweight racquet, which helps a lot for players with weaker wrists or forearms and who suffer in prolonged and intense matches, but can also be used as a recovery racket if you’ve had any injuries recently.
Another interesting thing that this racket has is its price.
You can usually find it easily in online retailers and at very affordable prices considered to be a YONEX and of high quality and can be the perfect racket for an intermediate player in terms of quality/price.

All About YONEX Nanoray 70DX (Review)
Nanomesh + Carbon Nanotube
YONEX has created a unique blend of products which has been inserted into the shaft and the frame of the Nanoray 70DX to increase its repulsion and consequently the power that is added in the movement.
This is important because rackets with a lightweight head like this have always been a reason for criticism from the more offensive players for not being able to insert so much force into the moves.
This technology came with the aim of alleviating this difference.
This type of frame makes the racquet head more aerodynamic and thus better able to cut the wind by increasing the speed of your swing.
The T-connection that is made between the shaft and the frame of the racket is produced in several layers of graphite which causes a decrease of the torque in its movement thus achieving a greater level of control in its moves.
By having this form, the spacing between the ropes is the same, which makes your beat is much more consistent even when it does not strike exactly in the center of the racket, thus greatly improving its control.
A badminton game is not just strength and smashes. If you do not have consistency in your game you will lose all points even without the opponent using a smash.
Now we’ll look at your performance across the various types of bids and see what your strengths and weaknesses are.
It is quite possible to put the shuttle in the bottom of the opponent’s court and depending on its level can be a very simple task, however, compared to other rackets with more weight on the head, the Nanoray 70DX must apply more force in this movement.
However, it is a very efficient racquet with a high level of control.
This is a fairly easy move to do fluidly and fool any opponent when well executed.
Its Aeroframe makes the Nanoray 70DX very fast and has an above-average air-cutting capacity, making drop shots with a good trajectory easy to do.
Contrary to what is common in head light rackets, this one if you have a high tension in the strings will be able to make a smash with a good level of power and speed.
If we compare with the best rackets made for players with an offensive style, it is clear that they will be behind, but usually they are also at least 2x more expensive and some end up not being very balanced.
Being aerodynamic and lightweight has no reason not to be a good defensive racket.
The required wrist movement is made without major difficulties and has a good performance in short and fast movements as are usually required in double sets in a multi-drive situation.
YONEX Nanoray 70DX
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the YONEX Nanoray 70DX is a very interesting racket.
We recommend that it be used by intermediate/advanced players who want to buy high quality and affordable racket
If you are a purely offensive player and love making powerful smashes, then you should not buy this racquet, but prepare to spend more money as well.
We see no reason not to try it and if you have a bigger budget to spend, why not buy 2 of them? So you already have a replacement racket if the strings break or worse, the frame breaks.
And so, did you know more about this racquet with our YONEX Nanoray 70DX review, since its characteristics, if it is good to attack, defend, price, etc …?
