Nozomi Okuhara is one of the best female Japanese badminton players of the present time being already in the top 10 of the world ranking for a few years and which is always one of the candidates to win any competition.
Like the great majority of the players with this level she began to show its capacities in the World Championships of Juniors, being placed in 3º and in 1º place the year after.
When she reached the senior level she also managed to achieve great results but in terms of ranking she never managed to stay stuck to the top, much because of the fierce competition that has existed in recent years in women’s badminton.
However, it is worth mentioning that she has been World Champion and medalist in the Olympics.
